Situation:
An
organization was unhappy with the behaviors
of new hires, including limited
productivity, and was stymied about
how to help hiring managers select employees
that reflected the values that the
executives desired.
LPSI intervention:
Through a facilitated internal process, the
leadership team brainstormed on what the
mission critical values were for the
organization, and found that they were in
more agreement than they thought. They
incorporated these into their hiring and
performance appraisal process, and have
begun leadership development to increase
their skill in holding accountability.
Outcome:
Hiring is
more in line with executive values,
satisfaction has improved, and productivity
variances are more easily addressed.
